Centrifuge is a laboratory instrument that performs a fixed-axis, circular rotational motion, usually with the help of an electric motor.

The high speed of the medical centrifuge device allows the mixtures placed in it to be separated according to the principle of deposition. The heavy pieces are collected at the bottom of the tube with the help of centrifugal force(going out in circular motion).The centrifuge device uses the same logic as the lighter parts move towards the top of the tube(leading to the center of the circular motion). Suspensions or emulsions can be easily separated in this way. For example, blood may decompose in such a way that serum remains at the top, fat at the middle, and clots at the bottom.
